Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

With our manufacturing facility in China and expanding distribution across the U.S., we are focused on delivering safe, efficient, and reliable service to our customers. Our Detroit warehouse serves as a critical hub for regional customers and business operations.
Position Summary
The
Operations & Supply Chain Manager
will oversee
day-to-day operations at our Detroit warehouse
while also managing
local inventory planning and replenishment coordination
with our Chinese factory and U.S. logistics partners. This role is responsible for ensuring that the warehouse operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with
hazardous materials regulations , while maintaining optimal inventory to meet customer needs. This is a
hands-on leadership role , ideal for someone who enjoys balancing
warehouse operations management
with
strategic supply chain planning .
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee all aspects of the Detroit warehouse, including
receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping .
Ensure compliance with
hazardous materials handling standards , OSHA, and local safety regulations.
Manage and train warehouse team members, including scheduling, performance management, and safety training.
Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
Manage local LTL carriers and coordinate outbound shipments to customers.
Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce errors or losses.
Supply Chain Planning & Coordination
Monitor inventory levels at the Detroit warehouse to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
Create
production replenishment requests
based on sales data, inventory levels, and safety stock requirements.
Collaborate with the Chinese factory to align production and shipping schedules with Detroit warehouse needs.
Review compliance documentation for incoming hazardous materials shipments, including
MSDS
and
IMDG
declarations.
Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and trucking companies to ensure timely imports and domestic deliveries.
Provide regular reports on inventory performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or related field preferred.
Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
required.
5+ years of experience
in warehouse or operations management, preferably in automotive, chemical, or hazardous materials industries.
Strong knowledge of
LTL carrier operations
and domestic freight processes.
Experience with
hazardous materials regulations and compliance .
Proficiency with
ERP or WMS systems
(Zoho, NetSuite, SAP, etc.).
Strong leadership skills with experience managing small to mid-size warehouse teams.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
Salary Range:
$65,000 – $85,000 per year (depending on experience)
