A Day in the Life of a Restaurant General Manager
Control profitability by managing cash, inventory, labor, and financial reports.
Recruit, interview, and hire staff including Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant GMs.
Coach and train employees to ensure operational excellence.
Conduct bi-weekly inventory counts.
Maintain cleanliness and provide an exceptional guest experience with friendly service and quality products.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience as General Manager in food service or retail, with Profit & Loss responsibility, preferably in QSR.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Availability to close the restaurant at least two nights a week.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull heavy objects, stand, walk, and operate restaurant equipment safely.

Additional Info Compensation varies based on skills, experience, and location. Starting ranges include:
Maryland: $53,000 - $58,000
New York: $55,000 - $60,000
New York City: $65,000 - $70,000
Cincinnati, OH: $54,000 - $58,000
