Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Quality Production Specialist to support the 787 Field Quality Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina. In this role, you will review and validate product non-conformances, perform analysis to evaluate product quality, and conduct failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components. You will also assist in the development of the non-conformance record using quality measurement tools. Additionally, you will train and mentor fellow employees, perform root cause analysis, and develop corrective/preventive actions. Position Responsibilities

Provides guidance for reviews and validates product non-conformances and disposition type, quality procedures and engineering requirements Oversees the analysis and evaluation of the quality of products, operations and processes. Guides the review of production plans. Applies advanced knowledge of aerospace design, systems and integration to perform failure and forensic analysis of aerospace components and systems. Guides or provides assistance in the root cause analysis of nonconformance. Verifies the accuracy of analysis results by consulting with other authorities in the technical field. Establishes process and product improvements by implementing technical initiatives. Oversees the process of problem resolution to ensure effectiveness of the Quality Management System. Provides oversight of the corrective/preventive action plans to assure timely completion. Reviews and oversees approval of Quality planning changes or disposition of nonconformance hardware products/processes. Provides direction for validation of corrective action to assure causes of nonconformance has been eliminated. Monitors the groups' performance of the verification activity. Creates formal analytical reports and coordinates with the responsible parties for internal/external distribution. Works under general supervision. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications 3+ years of experience in a role that required you to analyze and summarize raw data from various sources, and recommend executable action plans 3+ years of experience in Excel (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, linking worksheets) 3+ years of experience working with Velocity Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Bachelor’s Degree or higher Experience working with CMES Experience in working defect reduction strategies within a cross-functional environment Boeing 787 Program Experience 3+ years of experience working on MRB (Materials Review Board) activities related to aircraft structures Aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience Drug Free Workplace
