A Day in the Life of a Senior Project Manager
As a Senior Project Manager, you are at the heart of every project's success—ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every turn. Your expertise in construction standards, quality control, and Environmental, Health, and Safety policies allows you to guide your team with confidence. You thrive on managing daily operations, overseeing documentation, and keeping communication clear and proactive, ensuring every project stays on track and on budget. Your sharp financial insight helps you monitor margins, progress, and costs, while your transparency builds trust with leadership, strategic partners, and stakeholders alike. When challenges arise, your problem‑solving, conflict resolution, and crisis management skills keep projects moving forward smoothly—even under high‑stakes conditions.
Responsibilities
Ensure quality control and customer satisfaction
Manage teams, daily operations, and project schedules
Oversee budgets, financial reporting, and job profitability
Coordinate subcontractors, bids, and permitting
Handle contracts, change orders, and policy compliance
Support crisis management and on‑call responses
Ability to respond after hours and on weekends
Experience & Education
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the restoration/construction industry or equivalent industry experience
Experience in water, flood, fire, smoke, mold, and asbestos remediation
Safety courses as required for the position
Bachelor's degree or related experience
Valid driver's license required
