Job Overview Crosby Plumbing, Inc. is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee civil construction and underground utility projects across Southern California. This is a hands‑on leadership role managing all phases of public and private infrastructure work—from planning through project closeout. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator with a strong background in site work, demolition, grading, utilities, and concrete, who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and is committed to delivering projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
Lead full‑cycle management of civil construction projects including underground utilities, grading, and concrete
Develop and maintain detailed schedules, budgets, and resource forecasts
Oversee field activities, coordinating with superintendents, subcontractors, and suppliers
Review and ensure constructability of plans, drawings, and submittals
Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, meeting minutes, and project reports
Conduct pre‑construction meetings, job walks, and progress meetings with stakeholders
Ensure jobsite safety compliance and monitor quality control procedures
Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively resolving field or schedule issues
Manage project closeout including punch list completion, as‑built drawings, and warranty documentation
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing civil construction or utility infrastructure projects
Deep knowledge of demolition, grading, underground utilities, concrete, and asphalt scopes
Strong ability to read plans, schedules, and project specifications
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and project management platforms (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend)
Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills
Understanding of public works contracts and compliance documentation
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
