Automotive Service Manager – Staten Island, NY
Well-established new-car dealership in the Staten Island, NY market is looking for a hands-on, process-driven
Service Manager
to lead their service department to the next level. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a growing department with strong support from upper management. Must be a positive leader and teambuilder. This is an excellent role for a hands-on leader who knows how to grow a department, retain talent, and deliver top-level customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department
Implement and enforce policies and procedures to improve efficiency
Lead by example in maintaining strong CSI and customer follow-up practices
Focus on technician development, training, and long-term retention
Ensure timely and accurate repair order flow through the shop
Work closely with upper management to grow department volume
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Service Manager in a new car dealership required
Experience managing a union shop is a big plus, but not mandatory
Proven ability to manage and grow a service department
Strong leadership and accountability mindset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Proven track record of strong CSI
Compensation:
Compensation package will be in $170,000-$200,000 range depending on experience and performance.
