We support the Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) and Pasco County Utilities through engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services.
Job Overview Provide surveying services as a Construction Layout Specialist in the Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure industry. This includes onsite construction layout, staking, and field verification for public works and utility projects. The role is based in Pasco County and the South East Region of the United States.
Responsibilities And Duties
Perform construction layout and staking for in‑house utility installations and capital improvement projects.
Verify horizontal and vertical alignment, and provide documentation for as‑built drawings.
Collaborate with engineers and inspectors to ensure conformance with design drawings.
Perform cut‑and‑fill calculations for grade verification.
Support field QA/QC teams with layout compliance checks.
Ensure accurate design execution and post‑construction documentation.
Education / Experience Requirements
Technical diploma or associate degree in Construction Surveying, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related field.
3–6 years of construction layout experience for public works or utility projects.
Skills Required
Precision, field judgment, safety awareness, and coordination with contractors.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word; Adobe Acrobat; data analytics tools; Visio.
