Registered Nurse (Full time, Nights) – Hematology/Oncology Unit, 7CC East, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with weekend rotation. Location: Cancer Center, Winston-Salem Campus. Benefits Eligible: Yes. 35.1 hours per week. Position Highlights

REQUIRED: Less than 1 year RN experience Graduation from accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred RN licensure by North Carolina Board of Nursing Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire Responsibilities
Patient/Family Centered Care:
Deliver compassionate care using the nursing process; assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate in accordance with hospital policies. Patient Discharge & Referrals:
Participate in multidisciplinary discharge planning and referrals to hospital and community resources. Safe, Therapeutic, and Healing Environment:
Maintain patient privacy and safety; utilize technology and equipment appropriately. Effective Communication:
Foster collaboration among the healthcare team and participate in professional practice models and governance initiatives. Professional Growth and Accountability:
Engage in peer review and continuing education; practice autonomously with accountability for actions. Patient Advocacy:
Act as a patient advocate throughout the continuum of care. Care Management and Clinical Prioritization:
