POSITION DESCRIPTION: In the Family & Children Services division, this position will work directly with the Fiscal Supervisor and unit. Provides oversight of fiscal services for assigned areas in the Family and Children Services division ensuring fiscal decisions are complementary to case need.Responsibilities in this position also include serving on state/county and internal work groups as assigned. Serves as liaison with other divisions and state offices as assigned. Fiscal Program Specialist will work within the FCS division monitoring compliance: billing/invoicing, foster care-related expenses, IV-E eligibility/reimbursement, adoption expenses, Medicaid managed care, placement provider contracts, legal/court orders regarding IV-E eligibly, and Random Moment Samples. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Per Section 5153.112 of the Ohio Revised Code, applicants of a Public Children Services unit must have one of the following:A bachelor’s degree in human services-related studies, orA bachelor’s degree in any field and have been employed for at least two years in a human services occupation, orAn associate degree in human services-related studies, orBeen employed for at least five years in a human service-related occupation.
