You’ll join as a front-line leader over three H&R Block tax offices, helping the customer-centric teams accelerate their seasonal tax business.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices and lead the customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business.

Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates, delivering an outstanding client experience, and achieving all office growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required.

Start with a flexible part-time schedule in the fall, transitioning to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed. This role is in-person and not remote.

Travel between offices as required.

Manage office staffing, operations, and logistics for multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders.

Assist the District General Manager (DGM) in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office associate positions.

Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.

Qualifications

People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.

Demonstrated aptitude for growth plan execution and leading a growth culture.

Strong decision-making and judgment skills; able to function in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Computer proficiency with MS Office.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience.

Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
