Description This role will support the Business Development & External Affairs team with communications support, community outreach initiatives, event day operations and various other department initiatives, administrative tasks and special projects.

Duties And Responsibilities

Monitor and compile weekly press clippings and media recap reports for Patriot Place, The Kraft Group, Partners in Patriotism Fund and for each external event held at Gillette Stadium.

Oversee and leverage Meltwater media monitoring platform to create a variety of reports of TV/radio coverage, and to monitor social media sentiment.

Assist in crafting department communications and maintaining accurate media distribution lists.

Increase the frequency of local photo and press submissions.

Oversee Noteworthy Neighbor initiative; source honorees, conduct interviews, write copy, and backend fulfillment.

Assist in Foxborough resident programming by proactively identifying opportunities for Foxborough community involvement, helping to plan Foxborough Season Ticket Member Forums, and taking ownership of Foxborough resident audits as assigned.

Responsible for notetaking and distribution to relevant stakeholders for PIP Fund, department meetings, and others as assigned.

Provide support to the Partners in Patriotism Fund as follows:

Develop and execute public relations strategies for the Kraft family’s nonprofit, the Partners in Patriotism Fund.

Schedule, organize, attend and lead all PIP Fund meetings to include facilitating the Board of Director’s annual meetings.

Compile PIP Fund applications and distribute for review at monthly Grants Committee meetings, as well as yearly distribution reports. On behalf of the Grants Committee, draft and mail notification letters and coordinate check presentations with grant recipients.

Maintain grant tracking documents and create monthly financial reports of fund distribution

Coordinate check fulfillment with grant recipients.

Compile PIP scholarship applications and distribute for review to Grants Committee and Board of Directors, as well as coordinate announcement of scholarships winners with Foxborough Public Schools

Serve as assistant editor for quarterly Partners in Patriotism newsletter.

Monitor email inboxes (department, Foxborough Resident and Partners in Patriotism) daily and provide timely customer service responses regarding Gillette Stadium concerts, events, and Town of Foxboro outreach.

Assist the Construction & Development team in external messaging and positioning strategies related to new business proposals and public presentations, including focus groups, neighborhood meetings and town meetings as it relates to Foxboro only

Serve as the primary point of contact for Stadium Advisory Committee scheduling during the event season

Develop and lead quarterly business forums for Patriots Season Ticket Members residing in Foxborough.

Submit monthly Article 17 reports to Foxborough Public Safety

Special projects and assignments as business dictates.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Skills And Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in sports management, business development, marketing or communication

0-2 years of relevant work experience

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion

Motivated self-starter with excellent project management skills

Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects at a time to include developing and meeting tight deadlines

Ability to work nights and weekends in support of business needs

Proficient in Word, Excel, Office and PowerPoint other software capabilities are a plus

Must be an exceptional communicator (written and oral) with strong business acumen and ability to influence others

Customer-service oriented with a fan-friendly attitude and professional appearance at all times.

Experience in photography a plus.

Must have attention to detail and focused concentration.

Must be able to make timely decisions in the context of the workflow.
