is a full-service hospital for companion and exotic animals. Located on the Olympic peninsula, 15 minutes from Puget Sound, it offers natural beauty and a pet-focused community. We are a multi-DVM practice with specialties in dentistry, surgery, ultrasound, and digital radiology. We focus on work-life balance and practicing gold-standard medicine in an uplifting environment. Externs will work closely with veterinarians to gain experience in patient histories, physical exams, treatment plans, diagnostics, dentistry, surgical procedures, and medical management. Unique opportunities include cases for USFWS and NOAA. Externs will also develop communication skills with team members and clients, and receive training on veterinary software and pharmacy management. Externship durations range from two to eight weeks, depending on schedules. All veterinary students are encouraged to participate.
