The role provides services across a broad age range from early intervention through high school, encompassing various settings including potential home and preschool visits.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy to students spanning early intervention to high school levels.
Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Collaborate with educators, families, and healthcare providers to support student communication needs.
Provide services through in-person sessions, including home and preschool visits, ensuring flexible and responsive care.
Utilize teletherapy techniques as applicable to enhance accessibility and continuity of care.
Qualifications And Experience
Valid SLP certification and credentialing (e.g., CCC-SLP) required.
Experience in school-based and pediatric speech-language pathology, ideally including healthcare settings.
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and techniques is beneficial.
Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed.
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills essential for a dynamic school environment.
