Construction Engineer (MEP) - US, Ohio - 12 Month Contract
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Construction Engineer (MEP) to join our major, global pharmaceutical client on their latest new-build project based in Ohio. This is a large-scale greenfield capital project investing more than $1bn.
Overview Construction Engineer (MEP) working on a large-scale greenfield capital project in Ohio on a 12-month contract basis.
What You'll Do
Provide field oversight of MEP installations, including HVAC, plumbing, process utilities, electrical systems, and fire protection.
Verify that all installations comply with design drawings, specifications, and GMP/Owner standards.
Track daily progress, monitor productivity, and highlight risks to schedule or quality.
Review and support timely closure of RFIs, NCRs, and field coordination issues.
Participate in field walkdowns, punchlist verification, and pre-commissioning readiness checks.
Coordinate with CSA, Process Piping, and Automation disciplines to manage interferences and maintain construction flow.
Qualifications
Requires extensive experience on large-scale CAPEX projects in regulated industries.
Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and process utilities.
Experience with GMP or cleanroom environments.
Proficiency with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and construction QA/QC documentation systems.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple trades and drive issue closure.
