A top healthcare client in Fort Walton Beach is seeking a compassionate and dependable RN to join its Med-Surg Neurology team. This role offers the opportunity to provide patient-centered care to adults recovering from illness, injury, or neurological conditions. The ideal candidate is clinically sharp, highly collaborative, and comfortable exercising autonomous judgment in fast-paced acute care settings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough assessments and collect health data to inform care plans. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to advocate for patient needs and ensure safe, high-quality care delivery. Analyze clinical data to develop individualized care plans based on each patient's diagnosis and expected outcomes. Promote patient safety, efficiency, and responsible use of resources. Educate patients and their families regarding medications, procedures, and treatments, offering continuous support throughout their stay. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 year acute care RN experience required. Active Florida RN license or multistate compact license (must obtain Florida license before start if not already held). Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA provider) certification required prior to start. NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
