As you inspire people to make confident, informed decisions about their lives, careers, and money, you’ll build client relationships that grow stronger every year. As a Team Leader, you’ll provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll lead as the front-line manager to develop tax office associates, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives. You’ll also serve as a knowledgeable resource on tax topics and products for associates. Responsibilities

Provide leadership and development to tax office associates; deliver an outstanding client experience; achieve office growth objectives. Partner with District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement. Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions. Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns; ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts resolved. Lead daily activities to ensure all tax office work is completed on time with quality standards and priorities. Build an engaging team environment by training and coaching associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions. Lead daily team meetings; communicate essential information to tax office associates; create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management. Prepare tax returns, as required. Conduct timely performance reviews and partner with Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns. Qualifications and Expertise

Prior experience in customer service, shift leadership, or similar roles; experience supervising or managing people. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course if preparing tax returns. Annual completion of continuing education and ability to meet IRS and state requirements; computer proficiency with MS Office; ability to work independently. Flexible schedule and adaptability to business needs; high school diploma or equivalent or higher. Passionate, driven, and resilient with a customer-centric mindset. Benefits and Culture
