Overview
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives. You will drive customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will architect complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet each customer’s needs. You will gather requirements, assess current infrastructure, and propose effective migration strategies to AWS. As trusted advisors, you will guide customers on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions, and lead the implementation process while ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks. The AWS Professional Services organization is a global team of experts helping customers realize their desired business outcomes when using the AWS Cloud. We collaborate with customer teams and the AWS Partner Network (APN) to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives, providing focused guidance through global specialty practices across a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries. Key responsibilities
Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery Collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective migration strategies Acting as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies Mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts to share knowledge within the organization Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or related field 3+ years of experience architecting/operating solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI) 3+ years in any combination of: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing 1+ years automating security operations, scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, and implementing security policies as code 1+ years in advanced incident response, leading detection and analysis efforts, and managing eradication processes Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing and building applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, Kubernetes) Experience with automation through DevOps scripting (e.g., shell, Python, Ruby, PowerShell) Experience with compliance and security standards including PCI DSS, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and NIST Scripting for automation (e.g., Python, Perl, Ruby) AWS Professional-level certifications preferred (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) Experience implementing enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDoS, SIEM) Additional information
