Position Purpose:
To support our customers and Texas Injection Molding manufacturing through training, mentoring, and guiding others; ensuring products manufactured by us meet or exceed set standards. Visually inspects, measures, and evaluates products according to customer specifications. Job Responsibilities: Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods such as calipers and gauges, measuring dimensions and examining functionality. Check that assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures, complying with our customer and industry standards. Record inspection results by completing reports and inputting data into the quality database IQMS ERP system. Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality. Work alongside the production team in validation of Good vs. Reject parts and ensure that understanding of acceptable quality levels are provided as needed to each Operator. Drive continuous improvement across molding and secondary departments. Requirements Qualifications Education: High School Education or GED Bilingual Work Experience: Minimum 2 years’ experience in a plastics manufacturing environment, preferably in the quality department. Knowledge/Skills and Abilities: Good written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications. Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers, micrometers, and computers. In-depth understanding of company standards Documentation and reporting skills. Teamwork and collaboration Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time. Strong understanding of raw materials and the manufacturing industry Bilingual in English and Spanish
