Texas Injection Molding
Position Purpose
To support our customers and Texas Injection Molding manufacturing through training, mentoring and guiding others; ensuring products manufactured by us meet or exceed set standards. Visually inspects, measures, and evaluates products according to customer specification.
Job Responsibilities
Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods such as calipers and gauges, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.
Check that assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with our customer and industry standards.
Record inspections results by completing reports and inputting data into quality database IQMS ERP system.
Educate production team on quality control issues and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.
Works alongside production team in validation of Good vs. Reject parts and insures that understanding of acceptable quality levels are provided as needed to each Operator.
Drives continuous improvement across molding and secondary departments.
Qualifications Education
High School Education or GED
Work Experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience in plastics manufacturing environment preferable in the quality department.
Knowledge/Skills and Abilities
Good written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem solving
Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, caliper, micrometers, and computers.
In-depth understanding of company standards
Documentation and reporting skills.
Teamwork and collaboration
Comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
Strong understanding of raw material and the manufacturing industry
Bilingual English and Spanish
