Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Coordinator in Chesterfield, MO. Summary: Our company is searching for a highly organized professional with strong analytical skills, who is self-motivated to fill the role of Sales Coordinator/Project Manager. This position is responsible for overall coordination of project orders including scheduling all inbound and outbound shipments, customer coordination and identifying operational efficiencies, while striving to minimize costs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for prioritizing tasks to meet expected shipping dates and taking the initiative to evaluate procedures for efficiencies. Expediting: Track orders from placement to delivery, addressing any delays or issues to maintain project timelines. Testing & Documentation: Oversee additional testing requirements, ensuring completion and collecting all necessary documentation, including photos and certifications. Shipment Staging & Inspection: Coordinate shipment staging and inspections, ensuring packaging and labeling meet project-specific requirements; communicate needs clearly to the yard team. Customer Site Coordination: Serve as the point of contact with customer site representatives to address scheduling and delivery needs. Booking Outbound Shipments: Work closely with Operations Team leaders to coordinate outbound logistics. Recording Inventory Activity in the ERP: Receiving material into the ERP while ensuring material meets PO requirements; also processing shipments and communicating invoicing timeline to accounting. Potential Additional Responsibilities
Material Sourcing: Research and secure materials with optimal costs and lead times to meet project requirements. Pricing Negotiations: Develop relationships with vendors to negotiate favorable pricing and terms in competitive bidding environments. Purchasing: Manage purchase orders and ensure timely procurement to support project schedules. Requirements
1 to 3 years of Purchasing/Logistics/Project Management experience. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Highly organized and attention to detail. Limited travel.
