$34.50 - $57.00 We have a great, dedicated, and passionate team helping residents reach their highest level of independence. The location is near the Twin Cities, with many restaurants, stores, and activities nearby. The facility features a recently updated therapy gym and other improvements. Job Summary Plans, organizes, and delivers physical therapy programs to help clients recover and improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities. Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients affected by injury or disease. Utilizes appropriate tools and techniques, documents evaluations, and develops therapeutic plans, modifying them as needed. Educates clients and their families about treatment plans and self-exercises for continued care at home. Applies age-appropriate treatments and incorporates current research into daily practice. May treat individuals of all ages with various diagnoses and disorders. Ensures documentation complies with departmental guidelines and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates treatment levels consistent with their specialty and adheres to professional practice guidelines. Exhibits flexibility with work schedules and participates in departmental and organizational activities. Interacts with external stakeholders such as providers, case managers, and community organizations. May supervise assistants, aides, and students, and provide ongoing education to peers. Performs additional duties as assigned. Depending on the facility's needs, may focus on post-acute, long-term care, or home health environments. Qualifications Appropriate education as per state licensure requirements. Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state(s) of practice. A valid driver's license may be required. Maintains necessary competencies and certifications, including Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers, obtained within the first 60 days of employment.
