Job Description We are delighted to offer this opportunity which has arisen within Fife Health and Social Care (H&SC) Partnership for a Band 5 Treatment Room Nurse to work within the CTAC Service. The role is based in a Primary Care setting providing care to patients in treatment rooms within Central Fife area, operating via a relief/HUB way of working.

You will be working as an autonomous practitioner, using your own initiative and clinical judgement daily. Flexibility is required to provide cover for treatment rooms across Central Fife – (Levenmouth, Kennoway, Glenrothes, Kirkcaldy, Kinghorn, Burntisland).

This position involves integration of work within general practices and/or being based in ‘HUB’ settings that are outside GP surgeries.

As CTAC is a Fife‑wide service, you may be required to cover other areas beyond Central Fife.

In this role you will work in clinics independently, providing care and treatment that includes wound management, venepuncture, catheterisations, compression bandages, Doppler assessment, injections, and a range of evolving nursing tasks – ensuring clinical care and quality standards are met.

The Treatment Room Staff Nurse will provide safe, effective, person‑centred practice to meet the needs of people in Fife.

You must possess excellent communication skills, time‑management skills, be adaptable to change, and demonstrate continuing personal development.

Applicants must be an Adult / General Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.

Required experience includes working within a Primary Care setting, delivering high‑quality standards of care and working effectively as part of a multi‑professional team.

The salary for this post is pro‑rata to part‑time hours.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as an Adult / General Nurse.

Experience in a Primary Care setting delivering high‑quality care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication, time‑management, adaptability and evidence of continuing personal development.

Working Hours & Salary Pro‑rata part‑time hours. Flexible working arrangements are available. Salary is calculated pro‑rata to part‑time hours.
