is hiring
Solar Technicians
to perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot and repair grid‑scale photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) components at a site located within 30 minutes of a CAMS‑managed facility near
Paris, TX . The role includes rotational night shift work, Remote Operations Center (ROC) tool support, and travel up to 10% overnight.
Responsibilities Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on PV and BESS systems and components.
Replace or install hardware, inverters, monitoring equipment, and other site components.
Perform electrical testing and use appropriate PPE to maintain safety compliance.
Prepare reports to meet O&M contract deliverables and utilize CAMS work‑order system.
Support maintenance tasks with minimal supervision and attend manufacturer‑approved training sessions as required.
Travel overnight up to 10% and maintain adherence to EHS, housekeeping, and company policies.
Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of electrical knowledge/training and the ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics and technical manuals.
Experience in PV and BESS installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting (related experience considered).
Strong organizational, communication, analytical, planning, and customer‑service skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Certifications: NFPA 70e, Substation Level I & II, First Aid/CPR; and ability to certify in thermal imaging within 12 months.
Physically able to lift >10 lbs, climb stairs and ladders, work outdoors in extreme weather, navigate uneven terrain, and operate required PPE.
Available for weekend work and on‑call emergencies; valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Desired Skills Valid Texas Electrician License.
Experience with CATL battery systems, EPC Power PCS inverters, Nextracker, and Sungrow inverters.
Manufacturer training certifications in PV, BESS, and PCS systems; experience commissioning equipment and performing HV/MV switching and substation work.
Certified in thermal imaging and analysis; familiarity with remote monitoring platforms such as Fractal and Indie.
