Patient Care Representative (FT)
– Bright Direction Dental
Full-time Patient Care Representative responsible for being the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service, managing patient interactions, and supporting the dental team with reliable administrative assistance.
Responsibilities
Patient Interaction / Appointment Management:
Answer calls in a friendly and professional manner.
Address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate department.
Verify patient information and insurance details as needed.
Greet new patients and assist them in joining the practice and scheduling appointments.
Send appointment reminders and confirm appointments as needed.
Handle appointment cancellations and rescheduling via phone calls.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed.
Handle patient registration over phone when needed.
Verify insurance information.
Perform overflow work from admin team as needed.
Team Coordination:
Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists and other staff to ensure seamless patient care.
Problem Resolution:
Address patient concerns and resolve issues related to appointments, billing, or service.
Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure concerns are handled properly.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a dental office.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes.
Proficiency in using dental office software and general office applications.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds at a time.

Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM (2 per month)
Compensation
$18–$20 per hour (based on experience).
