Role Description This is a full‑time role located in Spanish Fork, UT. The Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counselor will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, managing cases, providing relapse prevention strategies, and addressing mental health and chemical dependency issues. The counselor will collaborate with clients to support their mental well‑being and substance abuse recovery journey.
Qualifications
Treatment Planning and Case Management skills
Experience in Chemical Dependency and Relapse Prevention
Strong background in Mental Health counseling
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field preferred
Licensure or certification as required by the state of Utah
Experience with evidence‑based therapies such as DBT, CBT, EMDR, and Motivational Interviewing
