Radiologic Technologist – Part Time
We’re looking for a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join GoHealth Urgent Care in Northern Virginia. This role specializes in X‑ray imaging, patient care, and support of medical teams in an urgent‑care environment.

Responsibilities
Collaborate with Medical Providers and Medical Assistants on patient care management, organization, and communication.
Apply x‑ray energy to assist in diagnosis or treatment for patients of all ages.
Position patients correctly and ensure their protection during imaging.
Conduct preliminary physical tests (blood pressure, weight, temperature, etc.) and forward critical findings to the provider.
Perform point‑of‑care testing such as flu, strep, urinalysis, ECG, HCG as needed.
Prepare patients for examinations, including verifying identification, medical history, and purpose of visit.
Maintain accurate medical records, scan charts, manage quality assurance logs, and report equipment maintenance needs.
Collaborate with ordering providers to determine optimal imaging views.
Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and the ALARA principle.
Document results, manage image quality, and ensure images are sent to radiologists for interpretation.
Qualifications Education
High School Diploma required.
Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technologist program required.
Experience
Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
Licenses & Certifications
Basic Life Support (BLS) required at the time of hire – obtained through the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration required.
State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required (where applicable).
Skills
Expertise in positioning patients for X‑ray procedures.
Ability to identify and address equipment problems.
Knowledge of radiology equipment safety hazards.
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics for X‑ray testing.
Proficiency in infection control and radiological safety procedures.
