Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled
Data Center Team Lead
to join our IT operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing data center deployments, maintaining infrastructure, troubleshooting hardware issues, and ensuring seamless network service availability. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in hyperscale environments, GPU deployment, and project management, with a strong understanding of server and network infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities Technical Operations
Server and switch relocation, inspection, installation, and cabling.
Component installation (NICs, drives, memory).
Firmware updates and IP configuration.
Troubleshooting and break‑fix tasks.
GPU deployment and diagnostics.
Temporary racking and stacking for remote configuration.
Cable management and standards compliance.
Coordination with network admins for connectivity and issue resolution.
Leadership & Project Management
Act as primary liaison between team members and management.
Lead and mentor deployment and operational teams.
Manage workload prioritization and ticket resolution.
Review and validate build documentation.
Coordinate cross‑team activities for project builds and escalations.
Ensure alignment with data center standards and safety protocols.
Provide thought leadership and drive program growth.
Monitor project timelines and communicate status updates.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
4+ years in a hyperscale data center environment.
Proven experience in technical leadership and team supervision.
Project management experience.
Basic knowledge of computer hardware and server components.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, climb ladders, and wear PPE.
Ability to work non‑standard hours including weekends/holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: CompTIA A+, Server+, CCENT, CCNA, MCP/MSCE, OSHA30+.
Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Experience with:
Windows OS and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash).
Structured cabling, rack & stack, fiber/optical testing.
Storage devices and ITIL framework (ITSM, Change/Problem Management).
Copper and fiber optic cable installation and termination.
GPU deployment and troubleshooting.
Ticketing systems and network fundamentals (OSI Layers 1‑3).

Pay And Benefits Pay: $45.00/hr
