McCarthy is excited to hire full-time HVAC Technicians for our commercial team. We are looking for team members with a proven commitment to safety and the ability to maintain a full-time schedule in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair HVAC systems and components.
Maintain tools, supplies and equipment to ensure safe operating condition.
Prepare documentation for written support and convey information appropriately.
Respond to emergency situations to resolve heating/cooling and plumbing issues.
Operate heating/air conditioning and refrigeration systems and related equipment; perform equipment startups.
Create exceptional client experiences through strong relationships, knowledge of their business, and the ability to deliver impactful solutions.
Coordinate tasks with a defined range of responsibilities under established procedures.
Contribute to a team under general supervision of an experienced professional or manager.
Demonstrate reliable judgment in resolving issues and making recommendations.
Promote a positive learning environment by mentoring and directing apprentices.
Understand and implement lockout/tag-out procedures for safe and secure tasks.
Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant technical training or equivalent work-related experience
Journeyman license preferred
Ability to comprehend technical information and blueprints for quick execution
Experience with RTUs, boilers, MAUs, AHUs, fans, pumps, cooling towers, VAV/FPB systems, automation systems, chillers, hydronic systems, DX cooling circuits and components
Understanding of McCarthy Safety Guidelines and Procedures
Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
