Program Manager
– Dartmouth College, Hanover, NH (Hybrid)
In support of Dartmouth College’s Alumni Relations mission, this role manages high‑impact programming and events that connect alumni to the College and each other.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute volunteer and alumni engagement strategies and signature programs.
Coordinate logistics, communications, vendor work, and post‑event evaluation for events and programs.
Collaborate across Alumni Relations, Advancement, and campus partners to create new engagement opportunities.
Provide leadership in volunteer training, best practices, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Analyze and solve issues, develop creative solutions, and maintain high attention to detail.
Represent the department in internal and external communications.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum two years of demonstrated experience in event or program management.
Strong oral and written communication, customer service orientation, and project‑management skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple events and adapt to a fast‑paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database experience.
Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in alumni relations and volunteer management.
