Program Manager
The Center for Development and Disability (CDD), established in 1990, is New Mexico's University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service. The Family and Community Partnerships Division of the University of New Mexico’s Center for Development and Disability is seeking a Program Manager to oversee the activities of the CDD/FCPD Partners for Employment School-to-Work transition and Supported Employment contracts. This Program Manager will supervise and support multiple Education Specialists who conduct business statewide, coordinate team-based work on multiple projects, meet monthly reporting deadlines, and travel regularly throughout the state.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 6 years of experience, 2 of which are management level experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Extensive knowledge of coordination of integrated, community-based work experience for transition-age youth with disabilities.
Federal, state, and local resources for transition-age youth and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
Experience supervising professional staff, facilitating meetings, preparing and presenting technical trainings, and working with youth or young adults with developmental disabilities or supporting diverse populations.
Additional Requirements Passing a background check with fingerprinting is required. Regular statewide travel is required.
