Job Title
ASSOCIATE GOVERNMENTAL PROGRAM ANALYST
Location Caltrans District 3, 1835 6th Street, Eureka, Humboldt County, CA
Salary $6,031.00 – $7,775.00 per month
Job Summary Under direction of the Senior Right of Way Agent, the incumbent is responsible for independently performing complex and varied administrative duties related to working with District budget offices in managing operating expense and personal services budgets, ordering supplies, reviewing and analyzing project initiation documents, working with Right of Way Agents to ensure all escrows are closed timely, analyzing the North Region Right of Way Skills Matrix, and serving as lead analyst for the Right of Way Management Information System II (ROWMIS II). Possession of a valid California driver’s license is required when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee operating expense and personal services budgets.
Order supplies and materials for departmental use.
Review and analyze project initiation documents and project reports.
Collaborate with Right of Way Agents to ensure timely escrow closures.
Analyze the North Region Right of Way Skills Matrix.
Serve as lead analyst for ROWMIS II.
Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Qualifications
Successful completion of the Associate Governmental Program Analyst / Staff Services Analyst examination.
Current eligibility on the state examination list (transfer, reinstatement, new to state).
Valid California driver’s license when operating a state owned or leased vehicle.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
