Job Title:
Molding Manufacturing Engineer
Duration:
12 months contract
Key Responsibilities
Optimize injection molding processes to reduce scrap, cycle, and setup times.
Troubleshoot molding issues and drive root cause analysis.
Perform process validation, DOE studies, and capability analysis.
Develop and improve manufacturing methods, equipment layout, and workflow.
Support preventive maintenance and process documentation (work/set‑up instructions).
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance product design and manufacturing efficiency.
Contribute to PFMEA, control plans, and other quality documentation.
Qualifications
5+ years of hands‑on injection molding experience.
Strong knowledge of molding equipment, mold design, and plastics (PP, PC, ABS, Nylon, etc.).
Experience with hydraulic/electric presses, hot runner systems, blenders, and dryers.
RJG Master Molder certification preferred.
Experience with robots (EOAT, six‑axis, programming) a plus.
Familiarity with cGMP manufacturing, process validation, and DOE methods.
