Injection Molding Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Engineer to support and optimize all injection molding operations. This role focuses on reducing scrap, improving cycle times, performing validations, and driving continuous improvement across materials, presses, and molds. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands‑on experience in injection molding, process troubleshooting, and manufacturing optimization within a regulated or high‑volume production environment.
Must‑Have Skills:
Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in injection molding operations.
Expertise in injection molding presses (hydraulic and electric), molds, and mold design.
Experience working with common molding‑grade plastics (Polypropylene, Polycarbonate, ABS, Nylon, etc.).
Proficiency in Scientific Molding techniques and Design of Experiments (DOE).
Ability to troubleshoot and optimize molding/manufacturing processes to eliminate defects and reduce setup times.
Experience conducting process validation, optimization, and capability analysis.
Knowledge of EOAT (End of Arm Tooling), six‑axis robot programming, and automation integration (preferred).
Familiarity with PFMEA, control plan development, and cGMP‑compliant manufacturing.
Strong documentation and technical writing skills (work instructions, URS, risk assessments, etc.).
RJG Master Molder Certification or equivalent preferred.
Seniority Level: Mid‑Senior level
