Processing Operator
Location 1250 West Maricopa Highway, Casa Grande, AZ 85193
Duration 12+ Months of Contract + possible extension
Shift 5:30 am to 6 pm
Job Summary Responsible for the manufacturing of liquid pediatric and medical nutritional products. Involves lifting and physical handling of raw ingredients, operation of computer-controlled systems, and documentation in accordance with work orders and GMP standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare, operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled blending processes.
Weigh, document, and stage batch ingredients using computer-controlled weigh systems.
Prepare, operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled clean-in-place (CIP) systems for manufacturing equipment.
Perform product line work operations (e.g., standardization/final water using ingredients, flavors, oils).
Maintain GMP compliance through routine cleaning, equipment maintenance, and accurate documentation.
Receive and transport bulk raw ingredients and CIP chemicals.
Prepare, operate, monitor, and document bulk slurries for blending operations.
Prepare, operate, monitor, and document computer-controlled heat treatment processes.
Perform and support other work-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Some college or vocational schooling desired.
Experience
Prior food manufacturing or similar batch process experience with emphasis on GMP and computer-controlled systems desired.
Skills
Good written, verbal, computer, and mechanical skills.
Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work safely in a team environment.
Ability to multi-task, make decisive decisions, and solve problems while maintaining product quality and GMP compliance.
