Position Overview
Outreach Sales Consultant II – Remote (Kforce client).
The role is part of the Small Business Group (SBG) Inside Sales team, supporting small businesses through consultative sales of products such as QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Payroll, financial management, payroll, and payments solutions.
Responsibilities
Engage with small business owners to understand their goals and uncover their needs.
Leverage knowledge of the client’s product ecosystem to tailor solutions that address identified problems.
Conduct multi‑channel sales conversations to acquire new users and grow existing customers’ usage of the product suite.
Make an average of 40 calls per day using warm leads, focusing on “sell through” rather than cold outreach.
Carry and present quotes, manage call volume, and work a flexible shift schedule from 8 AM‑9 PM, with typical start times around 11 AM.
Collaborate closely with the chat team for lead hand‑offs and with Subject Matter Experts to deepen product knowledge.
Participate in ongoing training, and after the onboarding period move to a permanent shift schedule.
Requirements
Strong conversational skills and experience in sales or professional influence.
Proficiency in computer software, including MS Office Suite, Google Workspace, and sales tools.
Self‑starter mindset, enthusiasm for connecting with people, and a natural ability to engage in dialogue.
Adaptability to shifting priorities and the ability to make smart decisions about time and resource allocation.
Openness to new ideas and willingness to learn, with high emotional intelligence and a proactive approach to objections.
Excellent presentation and communication skills; confidence in business expertise (e.g., small‑business ownership, startup experience, or B2B sales).
Integrity, community focus, and a genuine interest in helping others succeed.
Experience with sales techniques and methodologies; ability to demonstrate continuous improvement in selling skills.
Flexibility to work remotely and, if required, to pivot to an office environment in accordance with company policy.
Compensation Pay range: $70,000.00 – $200,000.00 (actual compensation depends on education, experience, location, and performance). The range may be adjusted over time. This position does not offer bonuses, incentives, or commissions.
