Base pay range $105,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Overview The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the daily maintenance operations for a high-volume food manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability, compliance with food safety standards, and minimal production downtime. This role oversees maintenance technicians, coordinates preventive maintenance programs, and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct maintenance personnel in troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment upkeep
Maintain and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA)
Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and uptime
Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to minimize disruption
Maintain CMMS records, work orders, spare parts inventory, and maintenance documentation
Train and develop maintenance team members in technical skills and safety practices
Support capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades
Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment failures
Qualifications
5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, PLC, and automation systems
Experience with CMMS platforms and preventive maintenance programs
Understanding of GMPs, food safety standards, and industrial safety protocols
Demonstrated leadership and team development capability
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume production setting
Education
Associate degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Relevant technical certifications beneficial
