Position Summary As a Physician/Medical Director, you will provide primary‑care services across the program’s long‑term care sites, leading a team of Advanced Practice Providers and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team that includes psychiatry, podiatry, wound care and more. Your responsibilities involve direct patient care, dose management, quality assurance, and administrative oversight, all while upholding Eventus’s commitment to accountability and compassionate care.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver primary‑care services in accordance with Eventus WholeHealth protocols and standard family medicine, geriatric or internal medicine care in long‑term‑care settings.
Sign and review MARs, orders, and lab results within 24 hours, and manage scheduled medication prescriptions per the company policy.
Allocate adequate time during each visit for paperwork and administrative tasks.
Collaborate with facilities to maintain care‑plan meetings, QA/PI sessions, and admissions documentation.
Maintain on‑call availability between 8 AM and 5 PM on scheduled days.
Submit documentation and billing records to Eventus WholeHealth following the billing schedule.
Foster open communication with facility staff, providing medication and caregiver guidance and meeting with administrators before and after patient visits.
Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth’s standards, policies, and all legal and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA and CPT coding guidelines.
Qualifications / Education
Licensed MD or DO
Minimum 3 years of experience in long‑term or geriatric care (preferred)
AMDA certification is a plus
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
