Senior Accountant - Real Estate - Miami
A estate investment firm based in Miami is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its growing team.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day accounting operations. (General ledger maintenance, AP/AR, payroll, and reconciliations.)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage entity-level consolidations across holding companies, subsidiaries, and joint ventures.
Support investor reporting, including capital account tracking, waterfalls, and distribution schedules.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA preferred.
3+ years of experience within real estate investment or development.
Strong understanding of real estate financial structures (capital calls, waterfalls, promotes).
Proficiency with real estate accounting software and reporting tools.
