Pay range:

$70.00 / hour

Shifts:

full-time and part-time AM, weekends AM

Job Description

Demonstrate proficiency commensurate with advanced technical skills under moderate supervision.

Perform services such as advanced 3D imaging with valve evaluation, advanced procedures in the cath lab and stress procedures in addition to 2D, 3D, Doppler, myocardial mechanics and ultrasound‑enhancing agents.

Provide technical assistance with research studies as required.

Utilize independent judgment to perform real‑time and offline manipulation of echocardiographic images.

Assist physician as required.

Act as a resource and preceptor.

Support quality assurance initiatives.

Operate diagnostic ultrasound and ancillary equipment proficiently.

Thoroughly complete appropriate documentation.

Provide echocardiography services at all locations and schedules as needed to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Graduate of an accredited cardiovascular ultrasound training program preferred.

Two (2) years of relevant experience required.

Currently credentialed as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR currently credentialed as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) required.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) by the American Heart Association (AHA) required.

All candidates must successfully complete ultrasound scanning of the heart, subject to approval by the Echo Quality Panel, as part of the interview process.
