Compensation Base pay range: $97.50/hr - $102.50/hr (or $975-1025/day)

Location New London, CT 06320 (some travel required: Boston, Providence, New London, Copenhagen)

Schedule Onshore with chance to go offshore; 50-60 hours per week. Start date: January 2026.

Contract Term 14 months with high likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities

Plan feeder vessel load-outs and provide lookahead for port operations.

Ensure a high focus on HSE at the site, e.g., by participating in regular operational safety assessments and safety walks in collaboration with the client’s HSE Advisors.

Coordinate the work of the main contractors on site (SGRE, Crowley, and Gateway).

Supervise load-out operations and issue DPRs for the feeder vessel while in port.

Perform final walkdown of feeder vessel after completion of load-out.

Liaise with the client’s offshore construction team and plan feeder vessel departure from and return to port.

Monitor progress of SGRE WTG component delivery, pre‑assembly, and readiness for load-out.

Oversee and manage the client’s equipment on barge and stock of spare parts in New London.

Facilitate MWS and CVA site attendance as required.

Reporting.

Provide engineering support related to load‑out, transport, transfer, and installation.

Weather forecast assessment and operability reviews.

DPR post‑processing and analysis for both onshore and offshore parts.

Requirements

Strong communication skills; highly self‑motivated and organized.

GWO offshore access; medically fit for offshore works.

Good working knowledge of lifting and marine operations standards.

Understanding of QHSE management principles.

Experience/qualification in construction, engineering, or marine operations.

Prior experience with installation of wind turbines or marine construction.

Knowledge of BIMCO & FIDIC contracts is advantageous but not essential.

Strong focus on safety.

Some technical understanding of lifting operations and marine transportation.

Ability to manage contractors and communicate with various stakeholders involved in the construction of offshore wind farms in the US.

Curiosity and motivation to learn about an industry that is still evolving in the US.
