Job Description We are seeking an
Assembler
to join our team. The role is a
Full Time Contract
with a duration of 6-12 months in State College, PA.
Responsibilities As an
Assembler , you will:
Perform a wide variety of mechanical or electro‑mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, sub‑assemblies, or end products.
Follow verbal and written instruction while maintaining a focus on quality.
Adjust, fit, or align parts as required.
Use hand tools such as long nose pliers, screwdrivers, soldering irons, and wrenches.
Maintain consistent quality and productivity levels.
Use Microsoft Office programs.
Maintain a neat and clean work area.
Identify problems and contribute to process improvements.
Perform some hand soldering on electronic assemblies.
Be willing to learn in a fast‑paced production environment.
Work as part of a team and collaborate to accomplish tasks.
Traverse the production floor during shifts.
Transport up to 30 lbs.
Read and interpret mechanical/electrical drawings and Bill of Materials.
Preferred Additional Skills
Electrical background at the component level.
Experience with continuous improvement processes such as E3.
Familiarity with J‑STD‑001, IPC‑610.
Mechanical or electrical assembly experience, including soldering.
Ideal Candidate Will Have
High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, OR 2 years post‑secondary/associate’s degree with 0‑2 years of related experience.
Pay Range and Benefits
Pay Range: $28–$30 per hour.
