A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a
Software Engineer/Developer .
Position Type:
Full‑time Contract
Duration:
12 months with possible extension
Location:
Cambridge, MA – onsite
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain non‑embedded software throughout the end‑to‑end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, safety, and regulatory standards.
Review, analyze, and translate customer requirements into initial software design.
Develop, maintain, enhance, and optimize software products and functionalities for system integrations.
Document and maintain architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.
Debug and resolve issues to ensure reliability and efficiency of software products.
Handle user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues, and analyze user feedback, implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and relevant regulatory changes.
Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.
Execute and document software research and development projects, advising on software domains, system‑specific issues, processes, and regulations.
Perform software project management activities and supplier management functions, tracking and evaluating team and supplier performance to ensure compliance with project plans and industry standards.
Required Skills
Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate of Science in an accredited engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry program.
Education or experience in modern HIL techniques and/or use of AI tools.
Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance if sponsored.

Pay Range and Benefits Pay Range:
$70–$75 per hour (based on education, experience, location, duties, and certifications).
