Dentist1 provides the full range of professional dental services, including: Examinationsof individuals teeth and surrounding oral structures utilizing x-rays, mouthmirrors, and other diagnostic procedures and instruments to determinepathological or irregular conditions; Treats dental diseases, injuries andmalfunctions of teeth and gums; Performs restoration of simple and compoundcavities; Performs single and multiple extractions of teeth; Cleans and treatsteeth, mouth, and gum infections with appropriate drugs or by surgery;Maintains written records of individuals’ dental treatments; Advisesindividuals about dental health practices.Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Possession of alicense and current registration to practice dentistry in New York State.
2-3 years’ experience providing dental care topatients with physical and developmental disabilities.
