Job Description The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) represents the face of the company to patients who visit for routine health services or important diagnostic testing. The Entry‑Level PSR I provides exceptional patient care by greeting patients upon arrival, assisting with check‑ins, and answering questions with compassion and professionalism. This role also helps maintain the integrity of the waiting area and supports other phlebotomists during breaks. The PSR I will be trained in phlebotomy skills, providing an opportunity for growth within the organization. The PSR I fosters a welcoming environment, ensuring patient trust and comfort while explaining procedures and processes clearly. The individual must demonstrate strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all interactions. Responsibilities Perform daily assigned activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment at all times. Greet patients warmly and assist with check‑ins through self‑service kiosks or handheld tablets. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards. Assist with breaks or downtime by learning and supporting phlebotomy procedures. Once trained, perform clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing following established practices. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive company image to patients, clients, and staff. Exhibit a willingness to learn new skills and adapt to evolving procedures. Requirements/Must Have Strong customer service experience and interpersonal communication skills. Compassionate approach when assisting patients during check‑ins and service. Willingness to learn phlebotomy skills and take on new responsibilities. Ability to perform tasks accurately while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively. Experience Minimum of 1–2 years of client‑facing customer service experience required (e.g., retail, home health aide, or similar). Prior phlebotomy experience not required. Keyboard/data entry experience required. Qualification And Education High school diploma or equivalent required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
