Job Description:

• The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients and plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional patient experience.
• This entry-level role focuses on patient interaction, lobby support, and customer service, with training provided to develop phlebotomy skills.
• The role emphasizes compassion, professionalism, confidentiality, and accuracy while supporting daily operations and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.

Requirement/Must Have:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 2 years of client-facing customer service experience.
• Strong customer service skills with a compassionate and patient-focused approach.
• Willingness and motivation to learn phlebotomy skills.
• Keyboard and data entry proficiency.

Experience:

• Experience in retail, healthcare support, or other customer-facing roles.
• No prior phlebotomy experience required.

Responsibilities:

• Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-ins using self-service kiosks or handheld devices.
• Answer patient questions and address concerns with care and professionalism.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional lobby and waiting area.
• Assist with breaks and coverage when phlebotomists are unavailable.
• Maintain required records and documentation accurately.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, and staff.
• Learn and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection duties as trained, following established procedures.
