Base pay range
$115,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr The Tax Manager ensures clients comply with tax regulations while minimizing tax burdens and adhering to firm policies and standards. This role involves conducting high-level tax return reviews, resolving tax issues, and collaborating with specialists as needed. They oversee tax processes, budgeting, and staffing while monitoring engagements and ensuring timely billing. Managing client relationships, they provide expert guidance and technical analysis to optimize tax strategies. Additionally, they train and mentor staff, delegate projects effectively, and contribute to process improvements through internal training and innovative tax solutions. REWARDS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, MBA or Masters of Accountancy preferred 8+ years of relevant tax experience CPA or EA certification is a plus Knowledge of tax compliance and consulting principles Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and ability to work in a team Professional communication and documentation abilities RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure client compliance with tax regulations while minimizing tax burdens and adhering to firm policies Conduct high-level tax return reviews, resolve tax issues, and collaborate with specialists as needed Oversee tax processes, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and engagement monitoring Manage client relationships by providing expert guidance, tax planning strategies, and timely advice Supervise, train, and mentor Tax Staff and Senior Tax Staff, ensuring quality work and professional growth Develop and implement process improvements, conduct internal training, and leverage innovative tax strategies Review tax implications, conduct research, and identify opportunities to enhance clients’ financial positions Emerge is committed to being an equal opportunity employer.
