Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fulfillment speed, quality, and cost efficiency.

Collaborate with IT and operations teams to optimize WMS, OMS, and ERP system integrations for automation and visibility.

Develop and maintain strong carrier and vendor relationships, negotiate competitive rates, and ensure compliance with performance standards.

Partner cross‑functionally with customer service, planning, and engineering teams to ensure smooth end‑to‑end fulfillment performance.

Qualifications

7–10 years of experience managing third‑party logistics (3PL) providers in a high‑volume e‑commerce or retail environment.

Proven success improving fulfillment accuracy, delivery speed, and cost efficiency.

Ability to work onsite in Chicago.

Strong background in warehouse and fulfillment management, including inbound, outbound, and inventory control.

Deep understanding of SLAs, KPIs, and fulfillment metrics such as order accuracy and on‑time performance.

Hands‑on experience with WMS, OMS, and ERP systems, with exposure to system integration and automation projects.

Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in Excel, SQL, or BI reporting tools.

Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks quickly.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with 3PLs, carriers, and internal teams.

Preferred

Experience scaling fulfillment operations in a direct‑to‑consumer (DTC) or omnichannel business.

Familiarity with logistics automation tools and transportation optimization software.

Experience with high‑volume small parcel.

Exposure to sustainable logistics practices, such as packaging efficiency and returns optimization.

Demonstrated ability to lead process improvement initiatives that balance cost, speed, and quality.

Bias toward technology and data‑driven decision‑making in operations.

Pay Range Salary: $110,000 – $142,000 USD. Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
