General Manager – Gold’s Gym Gold’s Gym is growing fast and looking for a General Manager to help us provide world‑class service to our clubs and members by utilizing in‑depth knowledge of company products and programs. Responsibilities

Assemble and manage a fully engaged and high‑performing membership team that aligns with company initiatives and culture.

Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.

Enforce all club rules, policies and promote proper execution of all procedures.

Keep the club fully staffed through review of applications, interviewing and hiring recommendations.

Drive results and continuous improvement in Service and Fitness categories through strong business acumen, building relationships, individualized communication, and development and accountability of the department‑head team.

Plan, organize, and coordinate execution of daily/weekly/monthly club functions to maximize club profit and loss goals with a member‑centric focus.

Recruit, hire, train, develop and nurture friendly and inclusive team members to support the needs of members.

Train, develop, and mentor club leaders through coaching and accountability.

Problem‑solve obstacles for your team to guarantee an outstanding member and team‑member experience.

Guide department leaders in establishing goals, brainstorming application of club strategies, and achieving club and career goals.

Cross‑train team members to think creatively and become solutions‑oriented.

Instill a sense of common responsibility and teamwork across club functions for a positive experience.

Collaborate with internal and external partners to continuously grow our member community.

Must Haves

3–5 years of progressive management experience supervising 3–10 employees in a team environment – measurable outcomes of employee development and promotion.

5–7 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations industry experience with high execution in both operations and service, focusing on high team member and/or customer turnover.

Experience managing P&L and trend reports with demonstrated math and analytical/ration skills.

Success in creating new teams and/or rebuilding teams in a collaborative environment.

Phenomenal communication skills, oral and written, with a heavy emphasis on listening.

Experience turning around operationally and/or financially deficient departments or teams.

Demonstrated success managing through defined strategy and delegation.

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.

CPR and AED certification required.

Bilingual preferred.

Physical requirements: Ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs; standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods; professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform required.
