Vice President, Regulatory Administration/Filings Manager II This role is part of the Regulatory Administration team at BNY, responsible for overseeing teams that manage regulatory filings, legislative reporting, and client support across the securities and financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Provide oversight for multiple small teams or one large team of Regulatory Administration and Filings staff responsible for reporting and making recommendations around legislation and providing client support.

Manage the performance of teams and set area priorities, directing the reporting of legislative issues to provide clients with information needed to make regulatory decisions.

Manage delivery of prospectuses, proxy statements, and other SEC‑required filings to clients and provide guidance on regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with in‑house counsel to ensure filings are created and delivered in accordance with regulations.

Set and provide guidance on processes for performing calculations needed to answer regulatory questions on behalf of clients.

Direct teams in working with clients’ accounting firms to exchange client information and complex data needed for regulatory matters efficiently.

Recruit, direct, motivate, and develop staff, maximizing their individual contribution, professional growth, and team effectiveness.

Contribute to the achievement of large team or multiple teams’ objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience is required; JD from an accredited law school preferred.

5‑7 years of total work experience, including 0‑1 years in management, is preferred.

Experience in the securities or financial services industry preferred.

Strong leadership and team‑management skills to effectively lead multiple small teams or one large team.

Benefits & Rewards BNY offers highly competitive compensation, benefits, and wellbeing programs rooted in a strong culture of excellence. Base salary for this position is expected to be between $125,000 and $140,000 per year, with additional discretionary bonuses, incentive packages, and benefit programs. The position is at‑will.
