Overview:
Kulshan Carbon Trust (KCT) is seeking a detail-oriented and community-minded Event Coordinator to help plan and execute our “Rooted in Resilience” Climate Week event, taking place on Saturday, July 19 at Boulevard Park. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing people together, coordinating logistics, and creating engaging experiences that inspire local climate action. You’ll work closely with the KCT team to support event planning, community partner engagement, and day-of coordination for this family-friendly event designed to showcase climate leadership and natural solutions in Northwest Washington. Key Responsibilities:
Help organize and coordinate the logistics of the Climate Week event (e.g., scheduling, site layout, supplies) Liaise with local organizations, vendors, speakers, and volunteers Support event promotion through email, social media, and flyers Assist with coordinating day-of activities, including setup, check-in, and breakdown Participate in planning meetings with KCT staff in the weeks leading up to the event Optionally assist with post-event follow-up and thank-you communications Ideal Qualifications:
Experience planning or supporting community events, festivals, or outreach efforts Strong organizational and interpersonal skills Comfortable communicating with diverse stakeholders Able to work independently and take initiative Passion for climate action, community building, and regenerative land stewardship Availability to be onsite in Bellingham on Saturday, July 19, 2025 Impact:
